Call it bridge pose call it setu bandha sarvangasana call it fixing a leaky pipe. We’ve had small stubborn leak under our sink since the dawn of time (actually, it started when I repaired our dishwasher). When our friend Keoki came to stay with us last week he was glad to lend his guidance. Of course this meant a trip to Busy Bee Hardware Store. What we sought was “O” rings, compression rings, and teflon tape.

The tools of repair are often already at our disposal (not garbage). The tool we sought was the 12′ utility plier. And, if you put your tools back in their proper place they will always be there when you seek them.

The repair was simple. Place a receptacle under pipes you are working on, loosen pipes, replace washers, tape all threads with 1 or 2 revolutions of teflon tape. Complete the circle. Replace and tighten joints. Do not over tighten. Chant om 3 times and your done.
